DRUM BRAKE LININGS (BRAKE BLOCKS AND SEGMENTS)

The brake LININGS for the drum brakes are used for equipping the brakes of the vehicles as follows:

• brake blocks for the vehicles from the categories M3, N2, N3, O3, O4 (commercial vehicles, trailers, semi-trailers, vehicles for people transportation)
  The latter shall be delivered as a set on the axis with the related rivets, at various repairing quotas.

• semi - elastic brake segments for the vehicles from the categories M1, M2,si N1 (vehicles for people transportation, vehicles designed for the transportation of goods whose mass does not exceed 3.5 t; these linings shall be used as a half - finished material, in creating the assembled brake linings (assembled brake shoes) or as parts for the first installation for the manufacturers of vehicles.

The two types of drum brake linings may be:

• parts for the first installation validated with the vehicles constructor

• spare parts which have been internationally homologated / certified by RAR Bucharest and which are in accordance with the Regulation no. 90 ECE - ONU and with the Regulation No. 13 ECE - ONU.

The drum brake LININGS (brake blocks and brake segments) are designed for the equipment of the braking system for the following types of vehicles: VOLVO, MAN, MAZ, MERCEDES, SCANIA, DAF , axe SAF si BPW , DACIA, DAEWOO, FIAT , FORD etc
